Effective date: 3 November 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you play Boba Burst on Android and iOS, why, and the choices you have. Boba Burst is made by TND Studio (“we”, “us”). Questions: tndstudioco@gmail.com.
What the game keeps on your device
Your progress stays on your phone or tablet: scores, level and XP, coins, power-ups, awards, streaks, settings and an unfinished game you can continue later. The game also keeps a small log of game events (for example “a game started”) on the device to help us improve it. None of this is sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
We don’t ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location, and we don’t run our own servers that collect your data.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Boba Burst is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google. Some ads are optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward; others appear between games.
To show and measure ads, Google’s advertising software in the game may collect:
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or, on iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking, and other app or device identifiers;
- your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location (country or city);
- information about your device, such as its model, operating system and language;
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps;
- diagnostic and performance information about the ads.
Google uses this to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests. How Google handles this information is explained in Google’s Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices about ads
- Europe, the UK and Switzerland: the first time you open the game, a consent message from Google asks whether ads may use your data for personalisation. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Me > Privacy Preferences.
- United States: where state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising, you can do so from the same message, or later under Me > Privacy Preferences.
- iPhone and iPad: iOS asks whether Boba Burst may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads still show but aren’t personalised using that identifier. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Remove Ads: buying “Remove Ads” in the game stops the ads that appear between games. Optional reward videos stay available if you want them.
Purchases
In-app purchases (for example coins or Remove Ads) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment card details. The store tells the game which item you bought so it can be unlocked. The store’s own privacy policy applies to the payment.
Boba Burst on YouTube
If you play Boba Burst on YouTube Playables, that version has no ads and no purchases, and your progress is saved with YouTube. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to your use of YouTube.
Children
Boba Burst is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game in a way that gave us personal information, contact us and we’ll help remove it.
Keeping and deleting information
The information on your device stays until you uninstall the game. Google keeps advertising data according to its own policies. You can control it with the choices above and at myadcenter.google.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, or US state laws such as California’s), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because we don’t hold your personal information on our own servers, most requests about advertising data are handled through Google’s tools linked above, but you’re always welcome to contact us and we’ll help. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If the game starts collecting anything new (for example crash reports or online leaderboards), we’ll update this page and its effective date before the change reaches the game.
